A technical assessment to establish your building's heating requirements, and help you (and/or your installer) select the right heating system and emitters.
Includes
- Whole-house and room-by-room heat loss calculations
- Indicative radiator or underfloor heating sizing
- Target system temperature guidance
- Heat source sizing recommendations
Calculations are carried out in Spruce, and if required access to the calculations will be provided so that this provides a foundation that can be further developed.
Heating System Design & Optimisation

More detailed design support for new, complex, or large existing heating systems, with a focus on efficiency, comfort, reliable performance, and comfort.
Includes
- Heating system layout and design intent guidance
- Flow temperature, volume, and control strategy
- Integration of multiple heat sources - for instance heat pumps, solar, biomass.
- Optimisation for low running costs
- Guidance suitable for installers and architects
