Energystore HP Cylinders are high-performance unvented hot water cylinders designed and optimised specifically for use with heat pumps. The flagship is the Energystore HP Combi 300 - a fast-recovery heat pump cylinder for large households with demaning hot water usage, this is a cylinder that will get you through those times when you would otherwise have run out of hot water with a standard cylinder.
The insulation for the whole range is 50mm solid, and at the base each has a cold water inlet diffuser to reduce internal mixing. The heat pump coils are a pair of high surface area DN20 coils, 3m2 in total, with a single pair of convenient 1" connections. Each Energystore HP heat pump cylinder comes with a standard connection kit including the expansion vessle, 3kW immersion, trv/prv, and tundish.
They come in sizes of 200, 250 and 300. The Plus models have an extra coil suited for input from, for instance, a biomass boiler, or solar thermal. The HP Combi 300 only comes as a 300lt version.
