Changes have been announced to the non-domestic RHI eligible heat uses
Changes have been announced to the non-domestic RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) which look likely to improve the scheme.
Drying of fuel will no longer be an eligible heat use unless the installation is replacing existing fossil fuel, private swimming pools are out and installations which basically just heat a single house are likewise ineligible. These changes will hopefully make the remaining years more effective and avoid Irish-style scandal.
Pictured is a Dragon by Arikazan and imported by us. A Dragon is a plug'n'play heaters for industrial/large spaces, polytunnels, warehouses, etc. They qualify for the RHI and come equipped with fan blowers or they can come with a connection to a hot air duct system. They run on wood pellets or logs and turn up assembled - the engineer pretty much just needs to add water (and a chimney).
