316 and 904 grade class 1 liner for solid fuel reduces
condensation in masonry chimneys and improves the performance of
the flue. How well an appliance works is totally dependent on how
well the chimney works so when installing a stove, be it a dry,
boiler or pellet stove, into a masonry chimney it is essential to
line it, and to insulate that liner. This helps to ensure a good
draw and, most importantly, reduces tar deposits, thereby reducing
the risk of a chimney fire.
