Renewable Heat Incentive reforms - current status

Back in December 2016, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy announced proposed changes to both the domestic and non-domestic RHI regulations that were due to take place in spring of this year.

Since Theresa May announced a snap election in April, these new changes have had to be put on hold until after June 8th. Post election, the regulatory reforms will be subject to clearance by new ministers.

Until a decision has been made, the Renewable Heat Incentive schemes are still very much open for business at the rates set end of March 2017.
